I'm Eddie, a 3rd year PhD student at the University of Birmingham, UK. My research focuses on the physics of the Sun, its magnetic field, and how the solar activity cycles affect cosmic rays.

I'm originally from Nottingham. I obtained my MSci in Physics from the University of Birmingham in 2014 and my MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering from Cranfield University in 2016.

When I'm not doing science, I'm busy producing a podcast for the University careers services, and managing the PHYART@UoB website. In my own time I play drums in a band, called harico. I also enjoy making graphics, doing yoga, and watching football.
